Mel Gibson Ashamed Just In Time?
Gibson appeared in an interview with Diane Sawyer, apparently humiliated and ashsmed. “I am ashamed that they come out of my mouth,” Gibson said, referring to his anti-Semitic rant when arrested for drinking under the influence in Malibu.
Gibson’s tactic, some analysts suggest, has much do with the imminent launch of his $50 million dollar epic Apocalypto, a violent and subtitled epic told in the Mayan language scheduled for release December 8 by Buena Vista. His “public humiliation” may impact the release.
In fact, Alan Nierob, Mel Gibson’s PR representative said, “It couldn’t have been sold properly if he didn’t do this.”
