Squeezed from both sides are publishers. Is it any wonder publishers focus on &#8220;sure bets&#8221; and &#8220;A list authors?&#8221;<br /><br />Meanwhile large chain retailers and online giants are clobbering ailing independents. &nbsp;<br /><br /></p>
