According to Book Standard, this week’s Book Trailer has resulted in movie production company interest, and nearly 600,000 downloads.
This week’s book trailer is from Derek Armstrong, the originator of the first book trailer, according to The Book Standard Magazine, back in 1999. From The Book Standard: “The video for Derek Armstrong’s The Game describes the book as “reality television meets the mystery thriller.” The video doesn’t feature any eyes, but it does a decent job of explaining the book, which is set to be released in January 2007 from Kunati.” According to Publishers Marketplace, the trailer resulted in five movie production company’s asking for bound galleys for rights considerations.
