Perhaps one of the greatest works of American literature arrives unabridged, finally, in a spectacular telling by Sissy Spacek, speaking in her own voice. Yes, she sounds southern and from the point of view of young Scout Finch, but Sissy makes no attempt to “act” the roles, adding a delightful story-telling quality to a magnificent audio book. Of course, it helps that Harper Lee’s novel is one of America’s finest novels.
