Shahrukh’s Home Mannat - The Best Bungalow in Bollywood

Shahrukh Khan is a renowned name in the Bollywood. He’s not only a successful actor, but also a prominent producer and a television presenter. Shahrukh Khan is such a ruling actor in Bollywood that he has been named as King Khan by his fans who are scattered in the whole world. He has been born on 2nd November 1965. SRK has began his career by appearing in the Television serials in the late 1980’s. His first film in Bollywood was ‘Dewana’ in the year 1992.
He has been the part of number of successful films and has has earned the claims for many of his best performances. In his film career Shahrukh has won 13 filmfare awards, among which 7 of them are in the category of Best Actor. The name of the actor is listed in the 50 most popular powerful people in the world.
As he is the ruling producer in the Bollywood therefore he owns three production houses namely, Dreamz Unlimited, Archlightz and Red Chillies Entertainment. Dreamz Unlimilited is the production house that is owned by the Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, and Aziz Mirza in 1999. So far there has been only three films that has been produced by the company and those were Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani (2000) and Asoka (2001) and Chalte Chalte (2003) which has been first hit movie of the production house.
Red Chillies Entertainment is an Indian motion picture production and is a distribution company which is based in Mumbai. The company Red Chillies was established by the Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan in the year 2002. Apart from the production and distribution, the company also handles the work of visual effects where the studio is known as the Red Chillies VFX.
Shahrukh’s home Mannat is known to be the best bungalows which is located in the suburb of Mumbai- overlooking the Arabian Sea. The building of the bungalow is very grand to look that it is under the Protected Structure Act. It is estimated that Shahrukh Khan has spend near about 8-9 crores for the construction of the bungalow. In the construction of the Mannat the interior of the home is done by the wife of the Shahrukh Khan that’s Gauri Khan and the exterior is done by the King Khan himself. The plot of the bungalow is the continuous site for the problem in the Shahrukh’s life. Previously there was resentment in the starting when the Shahrukh’s acquisition of the place.
The NGO of Mumbai Bhrashtachar Nirmoolan Sangathan claims that Shahrukh has disobeyed and encroached in the public space, and had filled the allegation. The first allegation that was against Shahrukh is that the boundary wall had been constructed adjacent to the road and has also been extended by the 3 meters which causes the width of the road to be the 6.15 meters from 9.15 meters. According to the Public Interest Litigation Act the construction of anyone’s home should start from the minimum of the 1.5 meters away from the boundary wall but the petitioners claims the multi storied building that has been extended around 1.5 meters outside the wall.
